Officially National Socialism and also now known more commonly as Nazism, are the concepts and idea's created and/or expanded on by Adolf Hitler, Nazi Party officials and predeccessor key figures not holding any Governmental position in any nation. The main principles were social reforms, militarisation, radical racial purification of the Germanic (Aryan-Caucasian/Nordic) race and the creation of a Master Race with the establishment of a united Europe under the leadership of a Germanic Government. It was largely influenced by the Italian Fascist Party idea's in the neighbouring country, Italy.
Common Confusion Edit
Nationalism and Socialism are traditionaly opposed as different ideologies. Nationalism has pride as it's defining trait, as it's concept is to put forth ones nationality over all. Socialism, however, is usualy the opposite: thinking of everyone (including immigrants). Nationalist socialism is social aids for the nationality in question only. For example, Germany was very socialist (giving aids, jobs) to the poorer classes, but only for those deemed part of the "supperior race".
