Erkanbald (? - 17 August 1021) was the Abbot of Fulda from 997 until 1011, and the Archbishop of Mainz from 1011 until 1021.
Erkanbald was a member of the comital family of Ölsburg and was related to St Bernard III of Sommerescheburg, Bishop of Hildesheim. In 997 he was appointed the Abbot of Fulda. He was a supporter of the Emperor Henry I the Saint, and was rewarded for it in 1011 by being appointed the Archbishop of Mainz.
